Your installation history, accessible in one scan.

The Smart Gas Passport is a QR-linked property record that keeps installation information, service history and safety documents together. Owners of older paper CoCs can book a recommended safety inspection and move their installation records into a secure digital format. Where a new CoC is required, it is issued through the recognised SAQCC Gas digital process.

LPG FOR HOMES AND BUSINESSES

More than connecting an appliance.

A dependable LPG system starts with correct planning—from the cylinder position and ventilation to regulator selection, pipe sizing and final pressure testing.

We work with homeowners, schools, commercial kitchens, HOAs and developers. Before recommending a solution, we consider the appliances, expected demand, available space and the way the property will use gas.

We assess documentation, cylinder positioning, gas controls, pipework, appliances, ventilation and operational safety. Applicable leak, pressure and operational tests are recorded, with findings ranked from immediate to advisory.

  • Digital findings and risk summary
  • Photographic evidence and corrective-action plan
  • Final verification and CoC pathway when compliant
For School Governing Bodies, principals and facilities teams. Projects are arranged nationwide, with our strongest operational coverage in Gauteng. An assessment does not guarantee CoC issuance; any corrective work is quoted separately and certification follows only after compliance is achieved.
SAFETY AND COMPLIANCE

A CoC is the final result.
Good workmanship comes first.

We do not treat compliance as paperwork. We assess the physical installation, rectify what is required, complete the necessary tests and document the outcome clearly.

New gas CoCs are issued digitally.

Paper CoCs that were validly issued before 1 April 2023 remain valid. According to the SAQCC Gas notice dated 24 February 2023, paper CoCs issued from 1 April 2023 onward are not considered valid, and practitioners must use the digital certification process.

Smart 1 safety guidance: arrange annual inspections for domestic LPG installations and twice-yearly inspections for commercial installations to support safe continued use. Older records can be added to a Smart Gas Passport after inspection, with a digital CoC issued where required.

LPG INSTALLATION QUESTIONS

Frequently asked questions.

Not sure what your property needs? Send us a photo of the appliance and proposed cylinder area on WhatsApp.

Ask our office
When do I need an LPG Certificate of Conformity?

A digital CoC is issued after a registered practitioner has inspected and tested an installation and confirmed that it meets the applicable requirements. Paper CoCs validly issued before 1 April 2023 remain valid; paper CoCs issued from that date onward are not accepted.

Can you inspect an installation done by someone else?

Yes. We can assess the installation, test it and identify corrective work. A CoC can only be issued once the installation meets the applicable requirements.

Do you install gas geysers and stoves?

Yes. We install domestic LPG geysers, hobs, stoves and heaters, including the cylinder supply, regulator and correctly sized pipework required for the appliance.

How often should an LPG installation be serviced?

We recommend planned checks based on how the system is used: normally annual for domestic installations and twice yearly for commercial systems.

Which areas do you cover?

We serve clients nationwide, with our strongest operational coverage in Gauteng. Our Gauteng teams cover Pretoria, Centurion, Midrand and Johannesburg, while projects elsewhere in South Africa are arranged according to scope and location.
